What is “hydrogen-electric”? Or is that just a convenient way to call a liquid hydrogen fuelled vehicle an “eVTOL” so you don’t need a new tag on your blog-news site lol

So the marketing material has arrays of electric ducted fan engines and a ton of batteries next to a hydrogen tank. I couldn’t find how the hydrogen is being used to charge the batteries.

Hydrogen energy density seems good on paper, but the storage and fuel cell systems add a lot of weight. That’s why all the other electric flight companies are using batteries, they simply perform better.

A 3- and 5-seater? The real question is which will be more expensive: a eVTOL (vertical take off and landing) ride in one of these things, or a supersonic flight?

There’s a lot of things that are unclear here… why is 3 seat Business and 5 Commercial? How does it Vertically Takes-off with only horizontal engines, no jet vectoring or the like? Moreover the article mentions that liquid hydrogen needs to always be at -250C°, which is wrong.
To sum it up, we have a lot of cool renders and little more.
