The guy seems to rehashing news (probably with AI) and posting it on his ad filled blog for clicks. Check his profile.
They fired their testers long ago who might’ve caught that. So ya. I can totally see that happening
As a user, the lemmy API backend is pretty fuckin fast. The default web frontend however is a slug.
Using lemmy with a third party app like voyager is super snappy.
