No. You are be able to do that, if you allow VM to access partitions as is, or whole disks. You then just, boot into them normally if you want to switch completely. There are also ways to boot directly into virtual disk images, and I wouldn’t be surprised if you could “convert” virtual hard disk image into a partition on your regular hard disk anyway.
Why not use virtual machines? They are much less invasive, and you can easily remove them. The only downside is that it uses a bit more resources than you would normally, but it’s not a huge problem nowadays, even for budget computers as long as your host desktop is not resource-hoggy.

You can still use the classic version of Outlook, that comes with latest Office. It is literally called “Outlook (classic)” in the start menu.
I remember having trouble installing software from Microsoft Store, (there’s apparently a solution for that, but it didn’t work for me) but otherwise it’s a perfectly normal Windows 10 installation, just without any bloat.
EU should just go and tell Microsoft that either they will allow consumers to install Windows 11 on hardware that would have no trouble running it (they could even slap a warning that it’s not fully “supported”, like whatever), or tell the user that there’s an eco-friendly alternative: that is running Linux, with instructions on how to do so. Otherwise they just allow a monopoly to have disastrous impact on the environment.
explorer.exe is still used for desktop and probably other stuff as well, so it might not be possible without using 3rd party shell replacement and not many exist.

You could say the same about Android and iOS. They are preloaded with a web browser not many people change. In fact I’ve noticed that many users (mostly older) using Android don’t even know what browser they are using, since they just type shit into Google widget on their home screen.
