Sure,just pop is by default running x11 so need enable it in gdm config file

I use surface pro 3 with pop os, basically u can install latest ubuntu and install this custom kernel. https://github.com/linux-surface/linux-surface And staying on Wayland it’s handle much better multi touch fingers especially on gnome which feels like designed for exactly such devices and gestures feels and works much than on windows my fav one 3 finger swipe between virtual desktops

I tried it running with portproton with pirated version works smooth no tinkering.Running on arch linux with hybrid graphics on nvidia mx940.

I even wonder what games are u talking about ,wanna try to run on my machine

About distribution i like linux mint cinnamon for me it feels quite polished and also using arch linux with kde,but i don’t think it’s for u,at least for now.But at the same time arch have the biggest repository of any kind of programs comparing with other distros + aur .i am running it on everyday bases and mostly everything just works except if nvidia driver break something from time to time.

I am personally not exicted about using arm on pc/laptop all because situation with them can repwat situation with phones where we have locked down devices without ability to unlock bootloader and hug problems with drivers as sequence. Also there no uefi with ACPI so each distribution should be custom build to exact laptop because of operating system should know about installed hardware in laptop/pc in DTB file,i would prefer stay on x86 long as i can and maybe risc v cpus gonna change this situation.

Try to downgrade driver to 550,i also had different weird freezes in games with 560 version.

Pop os implement rexocery partition too which u can use to reinstall all os

Fuse driver of ntfs-3g yes it’s slow but if configurate to use ntfs3 it’s same fast as in windows

Well until they letting to unlock bootloader,it’s nice cheap phones when u install custom os

If u wanna go with c# then use something like gtk# or cross platform gui lib like Avalonia

Btw videos not working well because of absense of hardware decoding codecs, and it is make software decoding.

Old used surface pro 3 works great with linux ,hardware still fine and screen is awesome.i own one and run pop os on wayland.

I think any modern unix-like operation systems: bsd based,linux based,haiku,minix and other else hundred branches.

I don’t know if Microsoft still using restrictions in their license agreement,that only one system can be installed for OEM when deliverying devices to shops.
