Thanks for the context. Soooo… What’s with he dick jokes? I mean I’m fan of dix as much as the next dick lover but setting up an emails service that’s ball-to-ball dicks is a bit much.

Are you saying that if NYT wants to continue to be relavent then they should agree?
This is fantastic. Thank you. I didn’t know EFF provided this service.

I should really cron my Borg script rather than waiting for a sinking anxiety to set it and doing backups at random intetvals
Yeah, I would say that this applies in general. That hat that we associate with a particular kind of socially maladjusted individual is not the faithful fedora but its contemptable cousin: the thrilby.
You’re right I sbould have included that in the question. I’m on Hyprland with Wayland so there are quite a few choices. I mentioned rofi (rofi-wayland) and wofi because I can see that they are both options here.
It was an impact of one.
Faair. Thanks anyways.
Ah, I think I may have used the wrong terminology (though thank you for the respobses). What I’m really looking for is an organisation that provides public reviews of FOSS codebases and assesses their privacy and security. Is that a thing?
Oh, is there a way to filter posts based on the site they link too?
Edit: Using Boost for Lemmy.
Automate the Boring Stuff with Python is a good way to get many of the general foundations through a series of projects.
On a tangential note, what does Linus used, Vi or Emacs?
Thanks!
Hey! What is that color scheme? I love it.
What are some good alternatives to GOS? I want something that can run on most androids that deGoogles while providing general privacy and security. I know nothing will be as good. Bur what is the next best thing?
What does a lockable bootloader mean? Is it just encrypted so the kernel never gets loaded without the user?
Wait, how can I get rid of google auth pop-ups? I got Ublock but they still come up whenever I go to a reddit page.
Guys is there a way to use complex filtering on the Boost app. Maybe a regex? I wanna be able to filter all headlines that include the phrase Google CEO unless it also contains the phrase ‘head explodes’.
