Sylvania now: “Just throw that piece of shit in the trash and buy a new one”
Exactly. I don’t need the most users. The internet was better back when it wasn’t everybody.
Same here. Firefox, ublock origin, privacy badger. Videos start playing in under 2 seconds. I’ve also never got the adblock warning.
Lucky I guess.
Nah, I block all the bots.
Edit: Settings -> uncheck “show bot accounts”. Done, easy peasy.
I just uncheck “Show bot accounts” Gets rid of most.

I doubt these cameras can sustain that kind of uninterrupted use,
I had an old HTC phone that I used as a garage security camera for 2-3 years straight. It had to be restarted every couple months, but otherwise worked fine. Now you can get a $20 IP camera that surpasses it in every way tho.

Yeah, luckily mine still has both, it’s an older model I found as new old stock. The one it replaced was network only, and I had to have a long talk with the router about never letting it play outside.
I would never let a printer be connected to the outside internet unless there was a specific remote printing option I needed that couldn’t be done over remote desktop.
I love my Brother, that thing has been a tank, but it’s never going to get to know the world exists out of my office.
DVR doesn’t take up much space in the safe. And the heat produced helps keep humidity down.
They are cheap and work decent most of the time. I have a few and don’t have many complaints. But I also treat them as if they were publicly accessible. I hope someone got to watch my cats out in their catio and it made their day better.
Your Wyze webcam might have let other owners peek into your house
IF you happened to be logged into Wyze’s horrible web viewer during the 30 min things got screwy. Didn’t this happen to amazon a couple years ago? I remember briefly getting someone else’s cart/purchase history.
I pay the content creators I enjoy. Youtube can make due with the data they harvest and sell.
