I went about it this way as well, was much easier this way.

In regards to media server, may want to go with Plex over Jellyfin as you will find it much easier for those users who are not as technical and will offer support to far more devices which sounds like what you are looking for.

Just watched the demo and it looks really nicely done. As I have gotten older I prefer using cli whenever possible. As others have mentioned having a browser based version of this would be great.

This seems pretty helpful, will spin it up soon and see how it goes.

2nd for Dashy, have been using for 4-5 months now and have been loving it. I tried out some of the others listed here as well but just didn’t hold up to Dashy.

This also was the realization point for me that was the last straw for me. It was a hard struggle not opening Apollo first thing in the morning and all throughout the day for the first time in such a long time. But now I do my best to avoid touching anything on reddit at all.
